OUR SISTER PROGRAM IN OREGON
The Yoga and Creative Arts Curriculum has been taught since 2003 at the Lithia Springs Residential Treatment Facility in Ashland, Oregon, which houses up to 15 young women between 14-18 years old. Local staff members teach the course supported by community artists and volunteers.
Lisa Norvell
Program Director – Ashland Program (at the Lithia Springs Residential Treatment Home for Girls)
Lisa is a certified Integrative Life Coach with a passion for helping individuals deepen their connection with themselves and others, learn to make healthy life choices that are internally rather than externally directed and assist them in turning obstacles into opportunities during life transitions. Lisa works with an "integrative" philosophy that takes into account the whole person and works with the body, mind and heart as a pathway towards personal growth, self awareness and defeating self limiting beliefs.
Lisa has her BA in Interpersonal Communications and experience in Sales, Marketing and finance.
Stacy Haddorff
Development Specialist/ Ashland
Stacy has been involved in the development of The Art of Yoga Project since 2002. She began as a submitting artist for The Yoga Girl Gallery, and now assists the Ashland Yoga and Creative Arts program in fundraising and her classroom presence. Since graduating with a BA in English, Stacy has worked as a grant writer and grant allocation coordinator through the City of Medford and United Way of Jackson County. In 2006, she has been working as a copywriter for Musician’s Friend, a web and catalog based retailer that serves the music industry. Stacy serves as Secretary on the Board of Directors for The Art of Yoga Project.
